The grader scores seven parts of your email with transparent rules, not a black box and not AI, so the same email always gets the same score and you can see exactly why:
- Subject line: length and whether it reads like a broadcast.
- Opener: whether the first line begins with the recipient or the sender.
- Relevance: visible signs that the message is intended for this audience.
- Clarity: average sentence length and ease of reading.
- Call to action: one simple question rather than several demands.
- Brevity: whether the message is within the useful word range in this rubric.
- Spam risk: maintained spam phrases, links, exclamation marks and capitalised words.
The overall score averages the first six components equally, then subtracts thirty per cent of the spam risk score. The calculation is deterministic and the message is graded in your browser. Only the email address used to claim the one time tool allowance is sent to the server.
